The Heart Behind The Art
Colourful Fantasy was born from an unexpected creative journey. Having come to Sydney to study English and pursue her profession, life had a colourful surprise in store. Through a chance encounter with an incredible mentor, Nadia was introduced to face painting and was instantly captivated. At a time when language was still a barrier, she discovered that art needed no words — a smile, a brush, and a splash of colour were enough to forge genuine connections with people from all walks of life.
As a qualified Psychologist and holder of a Master's in Social Work, Nadia brings a deep understanding of human connection, child development, and emotional wellbeing to every event. It's not just about painting faces — it's about creating a safe, joyful, and inclusive experience where every child feels seen and celebrated. What began as a creative outlet during a period of adaptation soon blossomed into a true calling. Today, that same passion drives everything we do at Colourful Fantasy.
Based in the Inner West and proudly servicing the greater Sydney area, our friendly team of talented artists share that same love for the craft. We are passionate, professional, and deeply committed to the moments we help create — because we know first-hand how transformative a little colour can be.
